Personal profile
Nick began his working life as a musician and sound designer, recording for major and independent record labels, and creating soundtracks for theatre and contemporary dance productions. After returning to education, he ran performing arts modules for various UK HE providers, worked as a university community outreach coordinator, and co-founded one of the UK’s leading arts-education organizations working with marginalized groups. Nick has been teaching EAP/Academic Skills for 20 years, joining the XJTLU Language Centre in 2014. Nick holds an MA in Education, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education.
