Ning Xin is a PhD student at the School of AI and Advanced Computing, XJTLU Entrepreneur College, China. He holds a bachelor’s degree in statistics from Xi’an University of Finance & Economics and a master's degree from Cardiff University. In 2017, after earning his bachelor’s degree and the associate actuary qualification certificate in China, he worked as an actuary at Taiping Property & Casualty Insurance, Ping An Life Insurance, and Ancheng Insurance. His research interests include actuarial science, data analysis, extreme event detection, and the application of artificial intelligence in drought early warning systems.
