Currently, Dr Linxi Yuan is working on “One Health on Selenium: From Soil to Gut”, which involved soil health via Se antagonism with heavy metals (Cd, As, Hg, Pb, Sb), rhizosphere health via Se benefits on microbiome, and gut health via Se intakes. Till now, he has written two books, published three chapters, and edited two special issues on selenium. He has published a total of 106 papers, in which 40 articles were cited in SCI database and 28 proceeding papers were cited in EI database. Dr Linxi Yuan has co-supervised 12 Master students, 1 PhD student, and is currently supervising 4 PhD students (including 1 co-supervised PhD) and 4 master students (including co-supervised master). Moreover, he has nine approved national patents, one industry standard and one provincial standard on selenium-rich agricultural products. Dr Linxi Yuan was PI on National Natural Science Foundation of China on “Role of rhizospheric bacteria on Se hyperaccumulating plant” (2015-2017), Provincial Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu on “Exploration of selenophilic bacteria in Enshi” (2012-2015), China Post-doctoral Natural Science Foundation on “Se metabolism of selected selenophilic bacteria strains” (2012-2015), and five Guangxi Key Science Project on “Natural Se biofortification” (2017-2020). He functioned as secretariat leader to organize 2nd (2011) and 3rd (2013) International Conferences on Selenium in Environment and Human Health, and gave invited speeches at 4th (2015), 5th (2017), 6th (2019) and 7th (2023) International Conference on Selenium in Environment and Human Health. Now he served as Council Member of International Society for Selenium Research, Founder/Chair of China Youth Branch of International Society for Selenium Research and Member of Sub-committee on F, As and Se, China Association of Endemic Diseases. For peer-reviewed publication list, please check my profile:https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Yuan_Linxihttps://scholar.google.com/citations?user=_TErVoUAAAAJhl=zh-CN
