Personal profile

Ling Tan is a Lecturer in Spanish at the Modern Languages Centre, Global Cultures and Languages Hub, XJTLU. Her research interests include: regional studies, AI in education, and critical thinking development.

Before joining XJTLU in August 2023, Ling Tan had been teaching Spanish for 14 years at public universities. She delivered a wide range of courses, from Spanish Intensive Reading to Spanish-Chinese Interpreting. Her commitment to the students and the University goes beyond the classroom. She coaches students to participate in national speech competitions and entrepreneurial competitions.

She is an accredited fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA, Britain).
