Dr Lina Zhang is an Associate Professor at the School of Intelligent Finance and Business. She holds a PhD in Operations Management from the University of Nottingham and has taught at leading institutions in the UK and China, such as the University of Exeter and the University of Nottingham Ningbo, China. Her research focuses primarily on the application of artificial intelligence in supply chains, sustainable and resilient operations, and platform economy. Her work has been published in reputable academic journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, International Journal of Production Economics, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, and Journal of Operations Research Society.

Lina has regularly served as an invited session organiser for the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) Annual Conference and has long been a member of the scientific organisation committee for the European Decision Sciences Institute (EDSI) Annual Conference.
