I live in Suzhou with my handsome husband and two lovely children. I have over 14 years of experience teaching EAP in universities both in China and England. I hold a Master’s degree with various teaching qualifications including CELTA, PgCert in TEA, and a TEAP associate fellowship with BALEAP while teaching at the universities of Bristol and Bath. I have led the Academic English program supporting the BA Digital Animation course established in partnership between Bradford University and QUST in China. I am an officially recognized TEAP observer for formal observations for the TEAP portfolio. I have gained my HEA fellowship and now working on my HEA senior fellowship and TEAP Fellowship while working as a language lecturer and module leader of a Year 2 advanced module in XJTLU. My main research interests include curriculum design, learner autonomy, and learner engagement.
