Dr. Ke Wang is an Assistant Professor at the College of Industry-Entrepreneurs and HeXie Management Research Centre, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Dr. Wang earned his Ph.D. degree in Strategic Human Capital from the University of Calgary. He also holds a Ph.D. degree in Management Science and Engineering from China University of Petroleum, Beijing. His current research interests cover Strategic Human Capital, Workplace Gender Discrimination, HeXie Management Theory, and Sustainability.
Dr. Wang’s research has been published in quality academic journals such as Journal of Cleaner Production (ABDC Ranking: A), Energy (SJR Ranking: Q1), International Journal of Hydrogen Energy (SJR Ranking: Q1), etc. He has also presented his research at leading academic conferences, including the Academy of Management (AOM), Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC), and the International Society for Ecological Economics (ISEE).
Dr. Wang has teaching experience both in Canada and China. He taught courses on the topics of Human Resource Management, Strategy, Organizational Culture, HeXie Management Theory, and General Management.
Moreover, Dr. Wang is actively engaged with industry, having contributed to multiple consulting projects in areas such as corporate management, organizational strategy, competitor analysis, and business investment evaluation.
