I am an Associate Professor in Operations Management. My research focuses on dynamical modelling and design of supply chain systems to overcome real-world system dynamics problems such as bullwhip effect.
I am looking for 2 full-funded Ph.D. students based on following projects
- NSFC project: Agricultural Supply Chain Resilience and Risk Management Mechanisms under Extreme Climate Events
- NSFC project: Explore supply–demand mismatch dynamics and stability of the power battery closed-loop supply chains in the post-subsidy era
林君义博士毕业于英国卡迪夫大学，现任西交利物浦大学国际商学院运营管理副教授，并担任利物浦大学管理学院博士生导师，西浦国际商学院运营管理系副主任。
他的研究主要聚焦于供应链系统的动态建模与设计，致力于解决现实供应链中的系统动态问题，包括牛鞭效应、库存动态以及供需失配等。他的研究兴趣涵盖闭环供应链、库存管理、供应链稳定性与韧性，以及复杂供应链系统中的动态决策问题。他在国际学术期刊、会议和专著中发表论文20余篇，包括EJOR, IISE, OMEGA, IJPE, IJPR, TRE,等，主持国家自然科学基金（NSFC）青年C类1项（结项后评估“优”），面上项目1项。他曾获得中国海外优秀留学生奖（2017）、江苏省双创博士（2021）、西交利物浦大学国际商学院年度最佳科研奖（青年教师）
目前，他正在招收基于如下项目的2名全奖博士生（免学费+5000人民币/月生活补贴）：
- 国家自然科学基金（NSFC）项目：极端气候事件下农业供应链韧性与风险管理机制 (共同指导老师：罗谦博士；胡晨博士)
- 国家自然科学基金（NSFC）项目：探索补贴后时代动力电池闭环供应链中的供需错配动态及其稳定性
对闭环供应链、库存动态、牛鞭效应及供应链韧性等相关研究方向感兴趣，且具有运筹学、系统动力学、数学建模、统计学或供应链管理背景的同学，欢迎联系我申请博士生项目。
