Personal profile

José Remón is a PhD Architect and Assistant professor at the Department of Architecture at Xi´an Jiatong University, Suzhou. His thesis, Mass Housing in Shanghai (1840-2012) The survival of Modernism in Contemporary China, analyzes the four existing typologies of mass housing in the city, describing from its historical, cultural, social and architectural context. His professional practice has been developed in Spain, Uk and China, where he arrived in 2009.
