Dr Jon Ford is Senior Teaching Fellow in the Department of Literary and Translation Studies at XJTLU. Jon gained his PhD in English Literature at the University of Nottingham, on a comparative study of the early writings of Robert Southey and Percy Shelley. Jon has been at XJTLU since 2013 and was previously Deputy Director of the Language Centre. His areas of interest include the history of Shakespeare in China and the afterlives of Percy Shelley.
