Dr. Jinxin Gu joined the Academy of Pharmacy at Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) as an Assistant Professor in 2024. Dr. Gu received his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2022. Subsequently, he undertook his postdoctoral training under the guidance of Professor Lei Fu at XJTLU from 2022 to 2024, and was awarded the 2023 Jiangsu Funding Program for Excellent Postdoctoral Talent. Dr. Gu possesses a wealth of expertise and experience in pharmaceutical sciences and medicine, including medicinal chemistry, biotechnology, pharmacology. He has broad interests in anti-aging and therapeutic interventions in metabolic diseases and neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease).
