Dr. Liu is dedicated to pioneering advanced manufacturing processes and systems, with a particular focus on hybrid manufacturing and the bioprinting of biomimetic soft tissues and flexible smart devices for transformative biomedical applications. By integrating core engineering principles with biological systems, my work aims to address some of the most pressing challenges in modern healthcare. Furthermore, Dr. Liu is passionate about pushing the boundaries of smart biomanufacturing through the incorporation of data science, system control, digital twins, robotics, and automation, striving to redefine the future capabilities of the manufacturing industry.
