Dr. Irina Shcheglova is an Assistant Professor at the Academy of Future Education at Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University. Dr. Irina holds a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences from HSE-University (Russia) and M.Ed. in Evaluation of Education from KSU (USA). She has more than 7 years of research, teaching and administration experience in higher education. Before joining XJTLU, she worked at HSE University as a Lecturer and Researcher and collaborated with UC Berkeley on several research projects. Dr. Irina Shcheglova has published her works in top tier education journals including Quality in Higher Education, Education and Information Technologies, Journal of Higher Education Policy and Management and presented at leading international conferences related to higher education such as ASHE, CHER, BERA and RHEC. Her research interests are students’ experience and development, assessment of education, cross-cultural research.
