Personal profile

Hui completed her PhD in Film Studies at the University of Birmingham, UK. She has been an Assistant Professor in Film Studies in the Department of Media and Communication at XJTLU since September 2019. She has also worked in higher education both in the UK (University of Surrey, 2013-2017) and China (Department of English, XJTLU, 2017-2019) in the area of translation and interpreting. Hui is a certified translator and interpreter. Hui welcomes PhD applications related to her research interests.
