Personal profile

Since joining Xi an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in 2017, Huanyan has been responsible for teaching the course Outline of Modern Chinese History. Since 2019, she has been the director of the Teaching and Research section of the Outline Course of Modern Chinese History. She is responsible for the overall management of this compulsory course and the nearly 5,000 students who take this course every year.Huanyans research direction is Suzhou city history and ideological and political theory courses. At present, she mainly conducts research on Suzhou city location and civic life.
