Guangyi Wu is a PhD student in the Department of Industrial Design at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Her research focuses on User Experience Design with Augmented Reality Technology in Museum Exhibitions. Her academic interests include user experience design, human–computer interaction, immersive technologies, and cultural heritage communication. By combining design theory with empirical research, she seeks to establish a theoretical framework for evaluating AR experiences in museums.
Before pursuing her PhD, she focused on digital media art during her undergraduate and master’s studies. Her early creative practice explored the intersections of new media art, interaction design, and cultural heritage, enriching her research with a multidisciplinary perspective that connects technology, culture, and design.
