Dr. Furong Jia is an Assistant Professor at College of Industry-Entrepreneurs and HeXie Management Research Centre, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Dr. Jia earned her Ph.D. in Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. She serves as the visiting scholar in Information Systems at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore.

Her research interests are centered around gamification in digital platforms, e-commerce and behavioral IS. Her research has been published in journals such as Information Systems Journal (ABS 4), Information Technology and People (ABS 3), Electronic Commerce Research and Applications (SSCI Q1), and Industrial Management & Data Systems (ABDC A).
