With ten years of teaching experience at EMI universities, Feiran is a committed language lecturer and a Fellow of BALEAP (British Association of Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes) as well as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, reflecting her dedication to excellence in teaching. She holds the Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (PGCert) from the University of Liverpool, providing a solid foundation in both practical and research-informed pedagogical approaches. Her research interests encompass technology-enhanced learning, with particular emphasis on the use of AI tools to develop students’ language, communication, comprehension, and critical thinking skills, alongside teaching methods that promote active participation, motivation, and engagement. Through the integration of digital tools and innovative instructional strategies, she seeks to cultivate an inclusive and interactive learning environment that supports students in developing independent learning strategies and achieving their academic potential. In addition to her experience in EAP teaching, Feiran has served at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and provided interpretation for municipal meetings and conferences, demonstrating expertise in high-level professional settings.
