Personal profile

Echo Wang is a political scientist with a specialisation in governance and public policy. She received her joint PhD degree in political science and China studies from the National University of Singapore and Kings College London in 2019 and worked as an adjunct lecturer and postdoctoral fellow at the National University of Singapore before joining XJTLU. She also has work experience in the finance, nonprofit, and business sectors. Her research interests include social entrepreneurship and social enterprise, nonprofit management, state-society relations, and governance challenges in the third sector. 

Research interests

I welcome PhD applications in the fields of public administration, governance, and public policy, with a particular interest in social entrepreneurship and innovation, state-society relations, and nonprofit management.
