Dr. Changhee Kim is an Assistant Professor of Sustainable HRM at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. He also serves as the Deputy Director of Global Affairs for the College of Industry-Entrepreneurs. His primary research interests include green human resource management, green dynamic capabilities, and circular business models. In 2023, the Academy of Management designated his paper, based on his PhD research, as the 'Best Paper' at the 83rd Annual Meeting (Division: Organizations and the Natural Environment).

Prior to his current role, he served as a Lecturer at Republic Polytechnic in Singapore, where he chaired modules in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour. He actively contributes to the academic community, serving on the Early Career Reviewer Board for Personnel Review (SSCI) and on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Organization and Management (Korean). He also holds the position of Vice President for the Korean Association of Human Resource Development, a national academic society in South Korea.

Beyond academia, he is a member of the Circular Economy Working Group at the International Trade Centre in Geneva, Switzerland. He also acts as a subject matter expert on the circular economy agenda for the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute, a quasi-governmental organisation affiliated with the Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Environment of the Republic of Korea. His opinion and interview pieces have appeared in Nature, Times Higher Education, and leading media outlets in South Korea.
