Caimiao Zheng is a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). Her research focuses on the collaborative governance of construction and demolition waste, integrating evolutionary game theory, behavioral modeling, and digital technologies to advance sustainable waste management and circular economy practices. She is particularly interested in multi-stakeholder interactions, policy optimization, and the role of digital tools in improving governance efficiency and environmental performance.
She holds an MSc in Construction Management from XJTLU and participated in an industry-academia joint training program with the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI). During this program, she conducted research on life-cycle carbon accounting of power generation systems, contributing to the development of a comprehensive carbon accounting framework and database covering both conventional and renewable energy technologies.
