Dr Bingqing Zhao received her PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2019. She is currently an Assistant Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). Before joining XJTLU, she undertook postdoctoral research through a programme jointly supported by Tsinghua University and Shenzhen Capital Group, where she conducted research on venture capital and entrepreneurial finance. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, venture capital, and technological innovation, with particular interest in how entrepreneurs and investors make decisions under uncertainty and how emerging technologies reshape entrepreneurial activity, innovation, and strategy.
