Dr. Guo joined XJTLU Wisdom Lake Academy of Pharmacy as an assistant professor in January 2024. She studied Biological Sciences at the Sun Yat-sen University before doing her Ph.D. studies in Exercise Physiology at the Pennsylvania State University in the U.S. In January 2024 she finished her postdoctoral training in the School of Basic Medical Sciences at the Southern Medical University with her work on organ crosstalk and bone degenerative diseases. Research interests
Dr. Guo has broad experience in molecular and cellular exercise physiology. In particular she has been interested in the physiological and biochemical regulation of the musculoskeletal system and related diseases. Additionally, her research here seeks to define novel pharmaceutical strategies to preserve skeletal muscle mass and bone density.
郭博士在分子和细胞运动生理学方面拥有丰富的经验。她的主要研究方向为肌肉-骨骼系统的生理和生化调节及运动系统相关疾病。此外,她在慧湖药学院的研究侧重于探索保持骨骼肌质量和骨密度的药物策略。
