XJTLU AFCT Career Planning Series

Description

To help students gain an in-depth understanding of the various programs offered by the Academy of Film and Creative Technology (AFCT) and to better plan their academic pathways, the event invited several outstanding current students and distinguished alumni from the Arts and Technology, Filmmaking, and TV Production programs. These guests have either successfully transferred into their current programs or have been admitted to top-tier graduate schools.

They shared insights based on their personal experiences, including effective strategies for transferring programs and adjusting to a new major, as well as the core strengths, development prospects, and career opportunities associated with each program within the school.

Additionally, Professor Yibin Yu from AFCT invited all faculty members of the Filmmaking program to the event. They provided detailed program introductions for second-year students who are about to enter their third year, offering clear and practical guidance to assist them in choosing their specialization. The session was highly praised by the attending students.
