Activity: Talk or presentationPresentation at conference/workshop/seminar

Description

In the heart of Sardinia, between Meana Sardo and Oliena, the first National Congress on Historic Rural Landscapes was held on 28 and 29 June: two days to promote a model of sustainable local development based on high-quality agricultural landscapes.
At the end of June, Sardinia celebrated its historic rural landscapes and those of the Italian mainland by hosting the first National Congress of Historic Rural Landscapes of the Island: a significant weekend dedicated to exploring the wine and olive-growing landscape, as well as celebrating agricultural landscapes that have been recognised and are in the running for recognition as historic rural landscapes by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry (Masaf) as they are listed in the Register of Rural Landscapes of Historical Interest, Agricultural Practices and Traditional Knowledge.
