In this event, I serve as Coordinator of Language Services in the organization committee, with the following responsibilities:: 1. Arranging a list of translation/interpreting providers + estimated budget 2. Confirm translation-interpreting services Spanish-English and Chinese-English for the event (either in-person or with subtitles)
3. Proofreading of promotional materials’ Chinese translations (WeChat articles, posters, etc.)
Additionally, I am the primary liaison for keynote speaker Prof. Kaixian Chen, Director Emeritus of the Latin American Studies Centre at Nanjing University, handling his welcome, reception, and all communications.
