In speech at the roundtable forum themed "Opportunities for Enterprise Transformation and Talent Development Directions in the AI Era" under the "Foreseeing Intelligent Enterprises – AI Era Enterprise Intelligent Scenario Transformation Exchange Conference", Dr. Pengjing Xu from the School of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Manufacturing at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) pointed out that AI-driven technological revolution is reshaping industrial logic with "reconstructive" power, driving enterprises to achieve three key leaps (production paradigm from "process-driven" to "data-driven", organizational form from "bureaucracy" to "ecological network", value creation from "product-oriented" to "scenario-based solutions") and thus putting forward new requirements for talents (mastering both professional technology and the integration logic of AI and industry); he mentioned that institutions like the "Shanghai Computer Industry Association AI Application Talent Education Service Base" and the newly unveiled "AI Organizational Development Collaborative Innovation Center" are exploring talent cultivation to foster "ecosystem builders", and introduced XJTLU's three-dimensional efforts in higher education upgrading (breaking disciplinary barriers to build an "AI+" interdisciplinary thinking system, reconstructing learning scenarios to align "industrial demands and educational supply", co-building an ecosystem to promote "two-way collaboration between universities and enterprises"); finally, he emphasized that AI is a link reconstructing the "human-technology-industry" relationship, and only when education produces "ecological talents who understand technology, know the industry, and are capable of innovation" and enterprises act as "scenario providers" for talent cultivation can the transformation opportunities in the AI era be truly seized, expressing XJTLU's willingness to work with all parties to explore more practical paths.| Period | Jul 2025 |
