Description

This special session aims to showcase practical and applied engineering solutions for cyber-physical systems
(CPS) and IoT applications in industrial contexts. Emphasis is placed on real-time monitoring, human–machine
interfaces, control and actuation, and dashboard-based decision support. Contributions highlight engineering-
driven designs with a strong focus on integration, prototyping, and functional demonstrators. The session
welcomes student-led or early-stage R&D projects, offering a venue for sharing lessons learned from design,
implementation, and field testing of industrial CPS and IoT systems. It aims to promote interdisciplinary
exchange and inspire collaboration between academia and industry in deploying intelligent, energy-aware, and
cost-effective solutions for industrial challenges.
