In a world where information rushes past like a fast river, true focus has become a quiet act of courage. Through my work with AI, XR, and digital twins, I explore how attention lets us see cities not as noise, but as living tapestries of movement, memory, and possibility. When we pause long enough to truly look, the invisible becomes visible, hidden systems show their rhythms, human patterns find their voice, and technology bends back toward the people it was meant to serve. My talk is an invitation to slow down, to look deeper, and to recognise that the futures we imagine are shaped first by the attention we choose to give. The future does not arrive on its own; we focus it into being.
