Description

The International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) hosted a Paper Development Workshop (PDW) for Technological Forecasting and Social Change (ABS 3, CAS Q1 Top) on 28 and 29 May, 2026. The PDW aimed to help scholars refine their research ideas and manuscripts, supporting their submissions to Technological Forecasting and Social Change (TFSC).

The event featured the journal’s Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editor, who
provided high-quality, constructive feedback to help authors refine their work.
The workshop combined keynote speeches with parallel presentation sessions.

To participate in the workshop, working papers were submitted by intending authors, assessed for relevance and quality by organisers including the TFSC editorial team, and invitations were granted to qualified authors.

A working paper titled 'Socio-Technical Processes Shaping Urban Affordability in Smart Cities: Insights from Nigeria' was submitted and presented at the paper development workshop.
