TAR-íA is an AI chatbot developed by XJTLU’s Spanish Division to support A1 learners with curriculum-aligned activities and tailored feedback, powered by weekly updated knowledge bases that track module and student progress. This interactive workshop demonstrates TAR-íA’s features and its use in SPA001, allowing participants to try the tool, review real classroom activities, and propose adaptations for their own contexts. Aimed at beginner-level ELE teachers, it offers practical, scalable strategies for implementing specialized AI assistants that complement face-to-face teaching with individualized, progression-aligned support.
