This topic introduces students to the emerging role of Al as a digital co-designer-a creative partner that supports and extends the designer's imagination. Rather than replacing creativity, Al can assist with early ideation, aesthetic exploration, material mood boarding, and conceptual visualization. Students will learn how to prompt, evaluate, and refine AI-generated outputs, treating the process as a dialogue between human intention and machine suggestions. One of the main aims is to promote critical and reflective thinking on authorship, originality, and design process, key to developing a contemporary design mindset grounded in both creativity and digital intelligence.
