The IOT307TC Big Data Analytics module leverages the XJTLU Taicang campus as a "living laboratory," encouraging students to identify real-world problems within their immediate environment and solve them using Internet of Things (IoT) and data analytics technologies.
This presentation details a student-led research project aimed at the Smart Library Noise Management System. The project demonstrates how theoretical concepts such as "Shift Left" architecture and real-time data processing were applied to improve the university study environment. This hands-on approach allows students to develop critical skills in sensor integration, system design, and data analysis, serving as a practical application of IoT concepts.
