Dr. Bhawana Shrestha was invited as a Mentor and Resource Person for an online session organized by the Hult Prize at Padma Kanya Multiple Campus to commemorate World Mental Health Day 2025. The session brought together university students, social entrepreneurs, and educators to explore the intersection of mental well-being, leadership, and social innovation.
In her talk, Dr. Shrestha emphasized the importance of emotional literacy, empathy, and self-awareness as foundational skills for young changemakers working toward sustainable impact. Drawing from her work in social-emotional learning (SEL) and gender-transformative education, she facilitated reflective discussions on how emotional well-being is integral to innovation, resilience, and ethical leadership.
The event aimed to foster a supportive environment for students to share their experiences, learn mental health strategies, and connect personal well-being with global development goals.
