The air pollution issue is getting more and more attention, especially on the health effect of particulate matters (PM). Althrough there are currently several atmospheric monitor sites all around Suzhou city, the PM concentration in Suzhou Dushu Lake Higher Education Town has not been measured. This study will monitor the mass concentration of PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 in XJTLU campus. Combined with the meteorological data, the monitoring results will indicate the concentration of atmospheric PMs at different particle size and compare with the results in XJTLU campus with other sites swithin Suzhou. The possible causes of the difference will be investigated and discussed.
