Description

This activity was designed to apply the principles discussed in the Inclusivity (WEEK8) and Building Regulations Lecture (WEEK7) directly to a real-world scenario through a building observation and through the guidance of an expert of the sector: Dr. Li Linqing.
Based on concepts from 'DESIGN FOR INCLUSIVITY’:
• Tied to key principles of Universal Design: accessibility, equity, and inclusivity;
• Reinforces compliance with Building Regulations (Week8 lecture and previous knowledge along the years).
The observation encourages to:
• Identify barriers and evaluate inclusive design in practice.
• Interpret legal (regulatory framework) and ethical responsibilities through direct experience.
