Description

The Workshop aims to experiment with a process-oriented and systemic methodology for planning and design. This methodology is intended for the design of the urban fabric in industrial areas and includes enhancing the relationships between buildings, public space, and the natural landscape. This will be achieved by configuring new public spaces connected to the industrial fabric, introducing new services and functions, and implementing functional and environmental redevelopment interventions.

With these goals, the design Workshop aims to create and consolidate expertise in landscape and territorial reading through multidisciplinary analysis. Simultaneously, it seeks to build and strengthen theoretical and practical competence in design across various scales, from urban planning to architecture, and including the renovation of existing structures.
