In addition to leading specific projects, I also spearheaded Fosun International’s AI Cooperation Ecosystem Initiative, building a comprehensive network across academia, industry, and capital markets to ensure sustainable innovation and application of AI technologies.At the academic level, I established collaborations with leading institutions including the University of Science and Technology of China, Tsinghua University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Fudan University, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Computing Technology of CAS, and the Institute of Software of CAS. These partnerships strengthened Fosun’s foundation in cutting-edge AI research and talent development.
On the industry side, I formed strategic partnerships with major technology leaders such as Microsoft, NVIDIA, Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, Baidu, and iFlytek, as well as with next-generation AI startups including Zhipu, Baichuan, and others. In parallel, Fosun joined or collaborated with Shanghai AI Laboratory, Zhongguancun AI Research Institute, CAICT (China Academy of Information and Communications Technology), and the Shanghai AI Association, positioning the Group as an active player in national and regional AI ecosystems.
To foster innovation-driven business applications, I organized the Fosun Domestic AI Industry Forum, connecting promising startups with Fosun’s core business units. Representative partners include Insilico Medicine, DP Technology, Shuimu Molecule, and Zheyuan Technology in AI+pharma; Baidu Financial OneConnect, Ping An OneConnect, ZhongAn Insurance, Ant Insurance, and WeSure in AI+insurance; and Tencent, Baidu, China Mobile Migu, Ctrip, iFlytek, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai Unicom, Fourier Intelligence in AI+tourism.
At the international level, I established the Fosun Overseas AI Industry Forum, enabling collaboration with Fosun’s overseas subsidiaries such as Fidelidade (Portugal), BCP Bank (Portugal), Luz Saúde (Portugal), Club Med (France), and Lavin Group (USA), and building bridges with AI partners in Europe and Silicon Valley.
From an investment perspective, I worked with Fosun Capital, Fosun RZ Capital, and Fosun Health Capital to establish an AI Investment Evaluation Center, jointly conducting due diligence on 15 AI startups in areas such as foundation models, embodied intelligence, AI chips, AI-powered toys, data governance, and AI-driven manufacturing, with 2 successful investments completed.
Finally, I led the creation of the Fosun Group AI Expert Committee, composed of 12 internal members (CTOs of Fosun’s key subsidiaries) and 9 external experts from academia and industry. This body provides long-term guidance on technology strategy, ecosystem development, and application innovation.
Through this ecosystem-building initiative, Fosun established itself as a bridge between cutting-edge AI research and real-world industrial applications, ensuring that its AI transformation is not only impactful within the Group but also influential in the broader global AI community.
