Faculty Nominations for the 6th MEGA International Creative Media Festival Submissions

Description

As a faculty member at the Academy of Film and Creative Technology (AFCT), I was appointed to serve as a jury member for the Student Section - Film and Video category of the 6th MEGA International Creative Media Festival. I was responsible for reviewing and evaluating 56 short film and video works submitted by students across the institution, applying a standardized 100-point scoring framework to assess each submission. My primary focus was on nominating and selecting outstanding works for three key award categories: Best Short Film, Best Short Video, and Best Short Film Director. This involved making discerning aesthetic, technical, and narrative judgments to identify works that demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship, creative vision, and directorial excellence. Beyond the evaluation process, my role also contributed to fostering a rigorous and fair assessment environment that recognizes and encourages emerging talent in student filmmaking. This service demonstrates my commitment to the academic community and my ability to apply professional filmmaking expertise in a structured, high-stakes review context that supports the development of young creators.
