With the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) technologies, AI has become an increasingly valuable tool in digital storytelling and animation. This project explores how AIGC enhances visual storytelling in animation workflows, assessing its capabilities and limitations in creating expressive and coherent narratives.
Using tools such as Stable Diffusion, Runway, and Dreamina, students will experiment with AI-driven animation techniques across story scripting, storyboarding, character design, audio, motion, and scene generation. The study will compare AI-assisted and traditional animation methods, evaluating their efficiency, narrative depth, and artistic coherence.
This research aims to balance AI automation with human creativity, ensuring AI serves as an enhancement rather than a replacement. The project will culminate in an AI-assisted animated sequence, accompanied by a critical analysis of its benefits and challenges.
