Held from May 22–24, 2026, across 25 venues in Tijuana, Mexico, Tijuana Design Week 2026 presented design not as a mere production process, but as a practice of care, empathy, and social regeneration . Under the guiding theme "Diseñar(se): del yo al planeta" (Designing (Oneself): From the Self to the Planet), the festival positioned creativity as a fundamental relationship—one that connects the individual creator to the broader responsibility for the planet and its communities
