Design School (Organisational unit)

Description

The Sustainability Steering Group (SSG) of the XJTLU Design School brings together academic and professional staff from different departments with the aim of promoting sustainability in teaching, research, management and the School’s academic culture. It is a committee intended to serve as a platform for coordinating initiatives, sharing good practice and identifying opportunities for collaboration. It also promotes the integration of environmental, social and economic sustainability into design education and research. Its objective is to strengthen the Design School’s contribution to XJTLU’s wider sustainability goals, support the implementation of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across the University, and foster a more responsible approach to the environment.
