This lecture continues the guest lecture series for DES301
Professional Practice ay 2025/2026. The series is designed to connect students of Architecture, Industrial Design, and Urban Planning & Design with the realities of the professional environment through direct engagement with invited experts.
Our third guest speaker is Ms. JUN JIE YANG, Associate at D'Andrea & Partners Legal Counsel. Ms. Yang advises domestic and international companies on cross-border transactions, corporate matters, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property protection between Europe and China. Her practice areas include commercial contract drafting, Al and technology-related legal matters, cross-border investment, corporate compliance, dispute resolution, and intellectual property.
This session is divided into two parts:
Theoretical part: An introduction to three key areas of her expertise:
Contract Clauses, Intellectual Property, and the correct use of Al.
Interactive part: Students will be presented with three different case studies to reflect upon and attempt to solve, combining legal perspectives with design needs.
