Description

Heegaard splitting and Dehn filling play a pivotal role in the study of low-dimensional manifolds. Within the realm of three-dimensional manifold topology, Heegaard splitting and Dehn filling find extensive application in manifold construction, classification, and characterization of structural properties, and so on. Topologists are consistently devoted to deepening the understanding and application of these tools, aiming to advance the development of low-dimensional manifold theory. These techniques establish profound connections among the topology of three-dimensional manifolds, hyperbolic geometry, spherical CR uniformization, and complex hyperbolic geometry, making them focal points in the mathematical community. Through this event, we aim to foster the enhancement, exchange, and collaboration in relevant fields.
