This seminar, hosted by Dr. Jianwen Zheng of the International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), brought together academia and industry to explore ESG practices and innovations. Professors Lixian Qian and Pavel Castka of IBSS highlighted ESG's growing importance in global challenges and the transformative role of emerging technologies in sustainable development.

Industry leaders, such as Shanghai Qunxian Group and AUO, shared insights on green transformation and supply chain innovations.

Academic guests included Professor Zhongjuan Sun (Capital University of Economics and Business), who introduced ESG national standards; Dr. Zhirong Duan (Tsinghua University), who explored ESG as a long-term business philosophy; and Professor Jing Dai (University of Nottingham Ningbo), who addressed ESG rating discrepancies.

The seminar concluded with a roundtable discussion, emphasizing the importance of academia-industry collaboration to address ESG challenges and unlock new opportunities.
