Academic Curatorial Committee Inauguration and China Pavilion Theme Announcement Ceremony

Representing Prof. Wolf D. Prix and Coop Himmelb(l)au, participated the Expert Committee for the Academic Curatorial Committee of the China Pavilion, in preparation for the "Academic Curatorial Committee Inauguration and China Pavilion Theme Announcement Ceremony".

On April 16, 2025, the inauguration ceremony and thematic seminar of the Academic Curatorial Committee for the China Pavilion (hereinafter referred to as the "China Pavilion") at the 2026 Barcelona UIA World Congress of Architects were successfully held at the Tsinghua University Design Center Building in Beijing. As the chief curator of the China Pavilion, the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tsinghua University Co., Ltd. invited authoritative experts, scholars, and industry representatives from the global architectural community to gather and witness the establishment of the Academic Curatorial Committee. The event also facilitated in-depth discussions on the theme of the China Pavilion and the future of international architecture.

Note: The UIA World Congress is a pinnacle event in the global architectural calendar. The upcoming Congress in Barcelona presents a critical opportunity for China's architectural community to engage in international dialogue.

This project, spearheaded at the highest professional and academic levels by the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tsinghua University, will culminate in the China Pavilion—a highly anticipated showcase within one of the most celebrated events for the profession in China.
