Multidisciplinary Gathering | October 14th and 15th

Vortex is a multidisciplinary gathering organized by the Institute of Architecture, Design, and Art, conceived as a creative epicenter where imagination, innovation, and experimentation converge. It is specially designed for IADA students, with the purpose of inspiring, connecting, and enhancing their work in the fields of architecture, design, and art.

Over two days, October 14th and 15th, our institute will transform into a vibrant and dynamic space for exchange, learning, and creation. This interdisciplinary gathering aims to foster an ongoing dialogue between ideas, styles, and disciplines, promoting new ways of understanding and transforming the world through creative practice.

The Vortex program includes keynote lectures, talks, workshops, exhibitions, art films, and collaborative activities, all designed to spark critical reflection, teamwork, and networking among students, faculty, professionals, and guest creators.

More than an academic event, Vortex: Creative Epicentre is a celebration of the diversity of perspectives, talents, and styles that reside within IADA. It represents a meeting point where each discipline contributes its strength and uniqueness to generate a collective movement capable of shaping the future of architecture, design, and art, reaffirming the transformative role of creativity in society.

General Objective:
To foster an interdisciplinary space for learning and creation among students, faculty, professionals, and creators in the fields of Architecture, Design, and Art, with the purpose of inspiring, connecting, and enhancing creative practice within IADA's domains, promoting dialogue, innovation, and social transformation through the diversity of perspectives and experiences.
