Dr Myria Christophini delivered a workshop to prospective students (23/10/21)
Myria Christophini, with the support of Profs. Alvaro Collar, Xiao Lu, Andrew O’Dowd and Yang Xin delivered a multimedia, multisensory speculative design workshop to prospective ATE students (part of the syntegrative year one workshops). The workshop used audio-visual cues such as video footage, green screen and audio to stimulate the imagination of the students who were encouraged to reconsider the possible, plausible innovative usage of objects in a future social scenario. Following an initial discussion and audio-visualisation of the object at hand in the specific future context, with the assistance of guiding questions, the students draw and mind-mapped their future solutions.
