The MAVLink protocol is used for the application layer for the UAV communication between the drone and the ground station. However, the current MAVLink protocol not only lacks cryptographical protection, but also has a number of protocol vulnerabilities. This project aims to perform a security study on the protocol with the purpose of proposing security solutions to enhance the security of the MAVLink protocol.
