Presented our Survival Chinese Online Course Design in the Showcase Sessions at the conference. Developed from our TDF project, this flexible asynchronous course focuses on the daily life topics and provides a real-life learning context online with vaious authentic materials localised in Suzhou, such as scenario video, audio, AI speaking practice etc. for international staff and students to learn the basic Chinese langauge and adapt their life in Suzhou. Many internal and external presenters have shown their great interest in the course and inquired futher with good feedback that it was a very useful online course for Chinese language beginners as they can learn at their own pace anytime anywhere.
